Kids blankets and the Redentore festival in Venice [24/07/2006]A big crowd in Venice on saturday night for the wonderful Redentore Festival, a typical Venetian celebration....but a fantastic and unforgettable event for tourists as well. An incredible number of people crowding Venice, from Zattera to Riva Schiavoni till Giudecca Island, with a bridge of barges temporarily built across the Giudecca Canal so that the people could walk their way on these floating pontoons while watching the famous fireworks......Kids blankets took part in this wonderful celebration....an absolutely magical night that only Venice can give!
